AI – Digital Architecture Meetup during Budapest Design Week

This year we will join the 20th anniversary of Budapest Design Week. Those interested in digital architecture and BIM can join us on 10.10.2023 from 18:00 for a special evening where we will guide them through perhaps the most exciting AI-influenced period of digitalization in the modern construction industry.

Launched in 2003, Budapest Design Week is the most comprehensive and well-attended creative event in the world, extending far beyond the capital, and the annual showcase of the design profession. The festival, which celebrates its anniversary this year from 5 to 15 October, is a great opportunity to look back over the past two decades and to take a look at the key trends shaping our times.

One of the main venues of the event will be the Ethnographic Museum, where, in addition to a special chamber exhibition, the public will also be able to see the Hungarian Design Award and the Design Management Award exhibition. Two years ago, the Hungarian Design Council awarded BuildEXT with a Design Management Certificate of Recognition.

As part of the event, BuildEXT will open its doors again for one evening and allow those interested in hi-tech architecture and artificial intelligence to take a short tour of the 21st century. 21st-century architecture.

In our presentation, featuring practical examples, visitors will learn about the role of artificial intelligence in architecture, the digital tools we use, the most destructive BIM myths and their contrasts with reality, and the critical role of BIM in a sustainable built environment. We will guide our visitors into a world where sustainability, transparency, and pervasive efficiency are present throughout the life cycle of buildings, from design to construction and operation.

After the presentation, participants will be able to experience how effectively digitalization can help not only in the design phase but also in the construction and operation phases, using VR glasses and Hololens 2. During and after the presentation, there will be an opportunity for informal discussions with each other and BuildEXT colleagues.
