This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data by BuildEXT Kft. (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Controller”). Amendments to the Privacy Policy will enter into force upon publication at buildext.com. We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time by unilateral decision. As data controllers, we are entitled (but not obliged) to inform data subjects of such changes by sending a system message. Data subjects are entitled to exercise their rights in relation to data processing as set out in this notice and in the applicable law.
We respect the privacy of our website visitors/service users and only collect and process information that is necessary for the purposes set out in this notice. The use of our site and services is entirely voluntary, so any personal data we may need to process for this purpose is also processed voluntarily and, depending on the purpose, may be processed on the basis of consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation or legitimate interest. The purpose of this notice is to ensure that visitors to our sites can understand our data processing activities and that they can clearly understand the purposes, means, legal basis and, not least, their rights in relation to each of our processing activities.

This Privacy Policy covers the processing of data related to the sending of newsletters, sending of emails, purchase of services and the buildext.com website.
We will respond to any relevant request without delay and within 1 month at the latest, unless legal conditions allow for a 2-month extension.
Activities of the Data Controller
Our main focus is on general and interior design, Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology for complex industrial facilities, office buildings and public institutions. More information about us is available at buildext.com.
Reasons for data collection
Newsletter
We send newsletters to those interested in building information modelling and our related services, news, professional blog posts, downloadable or viewable professional materials, open events, career opportunities. When subscribing to our newsletter, our system collects the subscriber’s name, email address, date of subscription and IP address, based on the subscriber’s explicit and voluntary consent.
Please note that the ngon.hu website, previously managed by n-Gon Stúdió Kft., was transferred to the Joint Data Controllers as of 1 December 2019, following the succession of BuildEXT Kft. The predecessor data controller has completed the interest balancing test in relation to the related newsletter lists in connection with the one-off data transfer, its newsletter list was transferred on 15 December 2019, so the newsletters previously sent on behalf of n-Gon Stúdió Kft. will now be sent by BuildEXT Kft. The ngon.hu and archimon.hu sites were permanently shut down on 31 March 2021.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by using the link at the bottom of the email, at which point your unsubscribe details will be deleted and no further newsletters will be sent. You can also request the deletion of your personal data by post to 1027 Budapest, Horvát utca 14-24. and by e-mail to office@buildext.com.

You can find out more about our services and career opportunities at buildext.com/contact. The information requested here is only necessary for the proper quality of the contact, we do not ask for company or personal data that is not justified at this stage of communication. The data and information you provide here will be treated as having been voluntarily shared with us in preparation for a possible future contract. If you provide inaccurate or insufficient information, we may not be able to contact you. The data will be kept for 5 years in accordance with the legislation in force.
Customer relationship, other data management
You can contact us via the methods given on buildext.com/contact. Incoming emails, messages, telephone data (name, email address and other personal data voluntarily provided) will be deleted after a maximum of two years from the date of communication.
In cases of data processing not listed in this information notice, we will provide you with written information at the time of collecting the data about the purposes for which the data will be processed, the basis on which the data will be processed and the period for which the data will be retained, as well as about your rights in relation to the processing.
We are obliged to provide information, data, data or documents in response to certain requests from public authorities or other bodies authorised by law. In such cases, we will disclose personal data to the applicant only to the extent and to the extent strictly necessary for the purpose of the request, provided that the applicant has indicated the precise purpose and scope of the data.

BuildEXT Ltd. maintains contact with those who are interested in the company’s services on several social networking sites related to its brands, so the admins of these sites can see the registered names and public profile pictures in the social networking site settings, which are allowed for the social networking site operator. The operator of the social networking sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is not BuildEXT Ltd, the data processing is carried out on the respective social networking site, so the options (duration, method of data processing, options for deletion and modification) apply to the respective social networking site.

At BuildEXT Ltd., you can apply for a job at https://buildext.com/en/career, on the sub-pages below, or by emailing job@buildext.com. The personal data you provide here will be accessible to our HR and Labour Relations staff and the head of the area of the position you are applying for. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. BuildEXT Ltd. will process the personal data provided when sending the application form and CV or other attachments for selecting a suitable new employee for the position and filling the advertised position. The legal basis for this is provided by the applicant when submitting the online application form or email. Personal data provided during the processing of CVs will not be transferred by BuildEXT Ltd. to third parties.
BuildEXT Ltd. will process the personal data provided during the job application process from the date of submission until it decides who to hire for the position, but not later than 120 days. The processing of data can be extended for up to one year, which is indicated in a separate, optional opt-in option when applying for a job. BuildEXT Kft. will delete the personal data provided during the application process and the CV within 3 working days at the latest upon request, which should be sent by e-mail to office@buildext.com or by post to BuildEXT Kft. at 1027 Budapest, Horvát u. 14-24.

Personal data may be processed only to the extent necessary for the purposes for which they are processed and for the period of time provided for by the legal basis, by our employees and by processors with whom we have a written data processing contract.

Security of data processing
We protect the data of our partners and visitors, in particular against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, transmission, disclosure, deletion or destruction, as well as accidental destruction or damage. Together with the server operators, we take technical, organisational and organisational measures to ensure data security that provide a level of protection appropriate to the risks associated with data processing.
Rights of persons concerned
You can request information about the processing of your personal data, request the rectification of your personal data or (except for data processing required by law) request their erasure. Upon written request, we will provide you with information about the data we process, the purposes, legal basis and duration of the processing, the name and address of the data processor and the data processor’s activities in relation to the processing. The information will be provided free of charge in writing in an intelligible form within the shortest possible time from the date of the request, but not later than 1 month, and any inaccurate personal data will be corrected. We will delete personal data if the processing is unlawful, if the data subject requests it or if the data is incomplete or inaccurate and cannot be lawfully rectified, provided that deletion is not prohibited by law, if the purpose of the processing has ceased, if the statutory time limit for storing the data has expired or if a court or the data protection supervisory authority has ordered it.
We will notify the data subject and the controller(s) previously involved in the processing of the data of the rectification or erasure, but we will not notify the data subject if it is not contrary to the legitimate interests of the data subject, having regard to the purposes of the processing. The right to object is provided by law, the data subject may object to the processing of his or her personal data where the processing (transfer) of the personal data is necessary solely for the purposes of the exercise of a right or legitimate interest pursued by the controller, except where the processing is required by law, where the use or transfer of the personal data is for the purposes of public opinion polling or scientific research.
As the controller, we are obliged to examine the objection within the shortest possible time from the date of the request, but not later than 15 days, and to inform the applicant in writing of the outcome of the objection. If the objection is justified, we will terminate the processing (including further collection and transfer) and notify the objection and any action taken on the basis of the objection to all those to whom we have previously disclosed the personal data concerned by the objection and who are obliged to take action to enforce the right to object.
If you are aware of any infringement, please send an e-mail to office@buildext.com or by post to 1027 Budapest, Horvát utca 14-24. contact us or the court of the defendant’s domicile or residence of your choice. If you contact us, we will investigate your complaint as soon as possible and will endeavour to bring the infringement to an end as soon as possible. The court will hear the case out of turn, and any action relating to the protection of personal data is free of charge.
