We presented at a BIM conference organised by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU

The aim of the conference was to familiarise the audience with the achievements of new technologies, their goals and the opportunities for technological development. On behalf of BuildEXT, Csaba Livják, founder and CEO of our company, presented practical examples of BIM from the past year.

By showcasing good practices, harmonizing regulations and collaborating, the organizers wanted to support operators from design to construction and operation.

The topics of the BIM conference included the role of BIM, the situation of BIM in Hungary, the opportunities, difficulties and development directions of BIM project management.

By analysing the current situation, the aim was also to highlight areas for improvement, both in education and in practical application.

During the round table discussions, renowned representatives of the profession shared with the students technical, technical and digitalisation issues affecting the sector.

Csaba Livják is presenting at the EU BIM conference organised by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, about the digital development of the design profession, representing the Hungarian construction industry.

Invitees were expected to include standardisation professionals associated with the EU CEN 442 standards committee, but also national and international BIM professionals applying the fundamentals of BIM in regulation and project management.

The invitations were also sent to the experts of the Hungarian professional organisations, the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers, the Hungarian Chamber of Architects and the National Federation of Hungarian Building Contractors, so the event addressed a wide range of the construction sector.

Detailed topics included the role of BIM in public investment, BIM standardisation, digital building solutions, BIM and digitalisation, BIM in urban development, training and education, the BIM framework and the role and importance of BIM in construction.
