Extreme technical requirements
TIER 3+
The general designer commissioned us to prepare the design of a bank data center, which had to meet the TIER 3+ requirement. The building is part of a larger block located in the northern part of the free port of Csepel. The design phases were the concept, planning, building permit, tender, and execution phases. We also undertook site supervision during construction.
The building is part of a larger block located in the northern part of the free port of Csepel. While maintaining the internal layout of the building, the aim of the adaptation was to create a new exterior façade similar to the free port of Csepel and neighboring buildings.

Tier 3 data center do not require shutdowns during planned maintenance and equipment replacement, hence it is concurrently maintainable. To implement this resiliency, it has two redundant distribution path for power and cooling so that all components needed to support the IT processing environment can be shut down and maintained, without impacting IT operations.

Stand-alone operability
A TIER 3 data center also needs a backup solution that can keep it up and running in the event of a local or regional power outage. The facility must ensure that equipment can continue to operate for at least 72 hours following a power outage.
Service without interruption
By being simultaneously maintainable, TIER 3 data centers have systems, protocols and equipment that allow staff to carry out maintenance and repairs without interrupting services to customers.

Tier 3 data centers guarantee 99.982% uptime per year.
