The project
BuildEXT was commissioned to design a two-storey office building with a floor area of 1,100 m² and a single-storey assembly facility, also with a floor area of 1,100 m².
The hall building accommodates industrial and storage functions, while the two-storey head building includes the room groups serving the office staff – reception, sanitary blocks, kitchenette, meeting rooms, etc.
During the design process, an important consideration was to preserve the existing tree stock wherever possible, while also ensuring the potential for future expansion.

Architecture
The functionally distinct parts of the building complex form two main units, which were offset from each other to increase the amount of daylighting surfaces. The space created between the two building parts is enclosed by circulation areas that provide passage between them, while the enclosed inner courtyard offers an excellent opportunity for internal company meetings and recreation.
The buildings were designed with anthracite-coloured sheet metal façade cladding, replaced in several areas by glazed surfaces. The northern part of the office building was formed with an angled wall opening towards the entrance point, and is complemented by an arcade on its western side.
Interior design
The interior design concept of the Controlsoft office building was based on a transparent, clean and easy-to-use spatial organisation. The entrance hall connected to the main entrance creates a strong first impression with its restrained, minimalist design: it communicates a simple, orderly and stable corporate character. Large-format ceramic finishes, carefully balanced wood surfaces, a restrained colour palette and interior planting together create a modern yet welcoming reception space.

Different-sized meeting rooms and communal spaces are connected to the ground-floor lobby. Flexibility was a key consideration in their design: the spaces are suitable for meetings, workshops, training sessions, presentations and hybrid discussions. In addition to the meeting rooms, intermediate zones, kitchenettes and lounge areas designed for informal encounters support spontaneous conversations and everyday collaboration.
When designing the office workstations, functionality, acoustic comfort and varied ways of working were the main focus. In addition to the open office areas, quieter work zones, phone booths, lockers, sit-stand desks and comfortable informal furniture were also included. The goal was to create a working environment that supports focused individual work, teamwork and flexible, modern office use at the same time.
