Furmint Houses Residential Park Project

Client: Molnárbeton Kft.

Location: Budapest

Completion: 2023-

Architect: Csaba Livják

Services: , ,

Sectors:

The Furmint houses are located in the Szőlőliget Eco Park, in Budapest’s 17th district, in a 38-hectare, environmentally friendly green area near Lake Naplás. The three-phase project comprises nearly 300 newly built apartments, some of which have already been sold (phases 1 and 2), are completed and ready to move into (phase 2), while others (phase 3) are under construction.

The investment focuses on sustainability, the use of green energy (geothermal heating), and smart home technologies. The residential park offers several community services: a 75-seat kindergarten, a nursery, a health center, a restaurant, a playground, an outdoor gym, and a 5,000-square-meter artificial lake.

During the planning and implementation of the project, great emphasis was placed on environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions, including electric car charging stations, thus offering excellent infrastructure, a natural lifestyle, and a modern living environment.

The role of BuildEXT as a general designer

BuildEXT was commissioned to coordinate a total of 11 buildings (198 apartments) (phases 2 and 3) and to prepare the implementation plans for phase 2.

During the project, we built the building model in Revit based on ArchiCAD materials received from the residential park designer, including mechanical and electrical engineering, thus delivering a collision-free implementation plan to the client, optimized with our change proposals.
