Green Walk Academia tour

For the first time, the Academia office building was included in the Green Walk’s green building walk. The sustainability-focused event saw the opening of buildings in Budapest for a few hours where ESG considerations were not just words.

An unmissable part of International Green Building Week every year, the Green Walk is a free opportunity for the profession to be inspired by many good examples of green building over a few days.

These buildings, (re)designed with modern technology, offer an opportunity to draw inspiration from the projects: interesting professional presentations by design architects, developers, and operators will showcase the most outstanding features of the selected buildings.

The CRE award-winning Academia office building is unique in the region for its high-tech architecture and interior design and has now been awarded several relevant certifications (WiredScore-Gold, Well Platinum and Gold, BREEAM Excellent).

During the renovation of the former building, we aimed to keep and reuse as many elements as possible in the brownfield project. Optimization of energy use in the building is ensured, for example, by LED-controlled cooling, but we would also highlight the installation of the increasingly popular green wall, which is also an air purification unit capable of purifying up to 100 m3 of air per hour.
