It was the deadline for my first degree when, in full flow, I noticed that something had changed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Then I realized it was dawn and the sun was up.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Since then it has been repeated many times and I still love it.<\/p>\n\n

The feeling of getting lost in the shaping of space, the meticulous design of a building, and that it’s only in the morning when you realize that you’ve worked all night.<\/p>\n\n

There is something infinitely reassuring about the “arrival” mood of these mornings. It is a bit like a deep meditation, where you have not been distracted for hours, and at the end, you see all the context crystal clear.<\/p>\n\n

You are satisfied because you see the results of your work. Something similar might be felt by a surgeon when a patient wakes up after 10 hours of surgery, or by a marathon runner when he crosses the finish line.<\/p>\n\n

The time fells apart.<\/p>\n\n

Of course, we don’t expect this from our employees, but I think it’s one of the things that makes engineers make incredible efforts.<\/p>\n\n

Perhaps this is the drive of our profession, which makes being an architect worthwhile.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
