The panel discussion \u201cConstruction: More Than Bricks and Mortar\u201d will explore how the construction industry is changing as digitalisation and automation advance while economic conditions become increasingly demanding. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of the challenges facing the construction industry are familiar: cost pressure, labour shortages, tight schedules and increasingly complex projects. At the same time, the sector\u2019s technological toolkit continues to expand rapidly. BIM models, common data environments, automated checks, digital site workflows and growing volumes of project data are now widely available.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1350\" src=\"https:\/\/buildext.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Real-Estate-Beach-2026-Livjak-Eloado-Post-1080x1350-1.jpg\" alt=\"Csaba Livj&#xE1;k, founder and CEO of BuildEXT, will speak about the digitization and future of the construction industry at the Real Estate BEACH Conference on September 3.\" class=\"wp-image-22620\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new software platform, model or database creates value when decisions can be made from more accurate information, coordination issues are identified earlier, responsibilities become clearer, and fewer problems reach the construction phase.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is particularly important in a market environment where there is increasingly little room to absorb additional costs caused by poorly coordinated processes, late decisions or information loss. During the discussion on 3 September, Csaba Livj\u00e1k will explore this perspective together with L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Koji, President of <a href=\"https:\/\/evosz.hu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00c9VOSZ (National Federation of Hungarian Building Contractors)<\/a>. The conversation will address productivity in the Hungarian construction industry, the practical state of digitalisation, the role of emerging technologies, and how investors and contractors need to adapt to the market conditions of the coming years.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And where does the line lie today between technological potential and solutions that actually work in practice? The next major step forward for the construction industry is unlikely to come from another tool alone.
