Last Friday marked the official start of a project that\u2019s especially close to our hearts: the foundation stone of the Tokaj-Hegyalja Training Pool was laid in S\u00e1rospatak. Built in the heart of the Iskolakert, the new swimming pool will provide not only university and high school students but the entire town with a modern, sporty community space. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At the event, Gy\u00f6rgy W\u00e1berer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tokaj-Hegyalja University Foundation, emphasized: \u201cThis will be a very modern swimming pool, top quality also in terms of energy efficiency<\/em>.\u201d Mayor Dr. Szabolcs Farkas added that the location preserves the values of the past while offering new opportunities for future generations.<\/p>\n\n

The pool\u2019s doors won\u2019t be closed: beyond students, S\u00e1rospatak\u2019s residents will also be welcome. What\u2019s more, swimming and water polo clubs are planned, ensuring that sport, community, and recreation can thrive together in the town. <\/p>\n\n
