The answer is the ACADEMIA office building, which was renovated in the heart of the city centre on behalf of ConvergenCE. The aim was to preserve the character of the building while creating an office of the future with full functionality and services. <\/p>\n\n<p>The aim of the renovation was not just to make the building look good but to make it work smartly and for the long term. In the case of ACADEMIA, this is not just a marketing label. The building has been designed with a holistic approach that focuses on <strong>energy-conscious operation<\/strong>, <strong>human well-being<\/strong> and <strong>intelligent operation at the system level<\/strong>:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the building&#8217;s mechanical systems are optimised for energy-efficient operation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>digital control of lighting, cooling and shading &#8211; reducing waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the choice of materials used takes into account a low environmental footprint<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the interior spaces are designed according to the WELL principles: natural light, good air quality, and a layout that supports active working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Sustainability is not just about the environment; it is about <strong>business<\/strong> and <strong>people<\/strong> &#8211; and it will be a competitive advantage for both owner and tenant in the long term.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards &#8211;
