{"id":11025,"date":"2023-05-02T11:07:20","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T11:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buildext.com\/?p=11025"},"modified":"2023-05-08T11:09:49","modified_gmt":"2023-05-08T11:09:49","slug":"hugbc-green-talk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buildext.com\/en\/hugbc-green-talk\/","title":{"rendered":"HuGBC Green Talk presentation &#8211; How to make the built environment sustainable with BIM?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>On 26 April, Csaba Livj\u00e1k, founder and CEO of BuildEXT, gave a presentation on the relationship between sustainability and BIM at the Hungarian Association for Environmentally Conscious Construction \/ HuGBC<\/strong> <strong>Green Talk series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/buildext.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/green-talk.jpg\" alt=\"Csaba Livj\u00e1k to speak at HuGBC Green Talk series on BIM and sustainability\" class=\"wp-image-10874\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buildext.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/green-talk.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/buildext.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/green-talk-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/buildext.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/green-talk-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the presentation, he pointed out that digitalization is nothing but an efficiency gain, which will ultimately be clearly reflected in the reduction of CO2 emissions, energy consumption and direct costs, and other environmental damage related to the built environment (<a href=\"https:\/\/infogram.com\/bim-a-fenntarthato-epitett-kornyezet-alapja-1hnq410pdmjrp23?live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">infographic<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction industry&#8217;s digitalization is reflected in the rapid take-up of <a href=\"https:\/\/buildext.com\/en\/bim-hub\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"20\">BIM<\/a> and the digital lifecycle of the building; we are now at an evolutionary halfway point between CAD and metaverse.
