The “Portfolio Construction” conference has grown into one of the most important business meetings of the Hungarian construction industry, which was held for the fifth time in 2023 with the participation of the key players of the industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At the Construction 2023<\/a> conference, the industry’s opinion leaders addressed the most pressing and topical financial, business, regulatory, and efficiency issues affecting construction industry players. <\/p>\n\n

In his presentation, he brought the topos “the profession is not prepared for BIM<\/a>” and “contractors can’t use it” down to earth, using the analogy that “without books, there would have been no point in learning to read”. The presentation also discussed permanent connectivity, the role of the digital lifecycle of a building, and the fact that not all projects really need to be in BIM.<\/p>\n\n

It was explained what the idea behind the creation of the Arcoord<\/a> BIM project management company and how Metaverse will be used in the daily practice of the construction industry was, and as a final thought, what is the mindset that hinders and what is the reality that helps the digitalization of the sector.<\/p>\n\n

The presentation was followed by a roundtable discussion with Tam\u00e1s Tomor (Commercial and Business Development Director, Envirosense Hungary Kft.<\/a>), moderated by \u00c1d\u00e1m Kov\u00e1cs (Founding Managing Director, Brick+Data Kft.<\/a>), where they discussed, among other things, the possibilities of laser scanner-based geodetic surveys in the construction industry.<\/p>\n\n
